  • Films Recent film projects include The Secret History of Japan, which is an 8 part public television series covering the history of Japan from the Jomon Period to the present, though concentrating on the period of enormous change between the so called Meji Restoration between 1867 and 1895, when Japan attacked China. Information for the film is from hundreds of original documents and antiquarian books from the Didik Collection, many never seen in many years, plus extremely rare early photographs and original films. Full details have not been released as of this writing. Be sure to visit this site again soon! The website for this film series will probably be www.Japan1.biz, though full details have not been placed on this site, as of this writing. Chinatown in the Shadow was a very interesting public television oriented documentary covering the concerns and feelings of recent immigrants after the World Trade Center horror.
